Privacy Policy
Version 1.2 · Last updated: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ONYX BRIDGE PAY INC. ("Onyx Bridge Pay", "we", "us") handles personal information through https://onyxbridgepay.com and its pre-launch waitlist. It does not describe a live payment account, card or transfer service; those services are not yet available. We will update this policy before collecting information for any launched financial service.
Who is responsible
ONYX BRIDGE PAY INC. is incorporated under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) (Ontario Corporation No. 1001683797). Our registered office is 39 Queen Street, 3rd Floor, St. Catharines, Ontario L2R 5G6, Canada. Our privacy contact is Compliance Officer, ONYX BRIDGE PAY INC. at info@onyxbridgepay.com. You may also write to the registered office.
Information we collect
When you submit the waitlist form, we receive your name, email address, whether you are joining as an individual or business, and any optional comment you provide. The email sent to our company mailbox also includes the date and time of submission in UTC, your IP address if available, website language, page path, the exact consent statement you accepted, and the Privacy Policy version. We do not send an address-confirmation email.
When you use the website, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as IP address, device and browser data, request metadata, and challenge results. Your language preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under onyx-locale. See our Cookie Notice for details.
Please do not put passwords, identity documents, card numbers, or other sensitive financial information in the comment field.
Why we use it
We use waitlist details to review your request and, if you check the consent box, contact you about launch and early-access updates. You can withdraw that consent at any time. We use technical data to prevent spam, protect the form and website, and troubleshoot failures. The submission email includes consent details so we can demonstrate and respect your choice.
For people in the EEA and UK, our legal basis for launch and early-access emails is consent. Our basis for proportionate security and abuse-prevention processing is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Where applicable, we retain limited consent evidence to meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not sell waitlist information or use it for behavioral advertising.
Service providers and transfers
We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site. We use Resend to deliver each form submission to our company mailbox. The mailbox provider stores the resulting email for us. These providers process information on our behalf under their terms. Resend states that its stored data is held in the United States. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States; the mailbox provider's storage location will be reviewed before the form is enabled. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual safeguards for international transfers.
We may disclose information when legally required or to protect our rights and the security of the website. We do not send waitlist submissions to Telegram.
Retention
We keep the submission email in our company mailbox for up to 24 months from submission, or remove it sooner if you withdraw consent and ask us to delete it, unless a legal reason requires longer retention. We review the mailbox and remove expired submissions manually. Resend and the mailbox provider may keep message, log, or backup data according to their own retention schedules.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent to launch emails by writing to info@onyxbridgepay.com. Any commercial email we send will also include sender identification and an unsubscribe method. You may ask us to delete your submission email and request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability, or complain to a privacy regulator. We will verify requests where necessary and respond under the applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
If you are in Canada, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the UK, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EEA, you may contact your local data protection authority.
Security and children
We use access controls, HTTPS, spam protection, and limited retention to protect waitlist information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. The waitlist is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can remove it.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here with a new version and update date. Material changes to how we use waitlist information will be communicated where required. For questions, privacy requests, or complaints, contact Compliance Officer, ONYX BRIDGE PAY INC. at info@onyxbridgepay.com or write to 39 Queen Street, 3rd Floor, St. Catharines, Ontario L2R 5G6, Canada.
